Our Story
Established in 2005 as the UK sales office of the Turkish based Penti Group, we have since grown to be a major supplier to the UK market, with a particular focus on the Hosiery, Sock and Compression & Medical sectors. Working closely with some of the country’s largest retailers, we have built our reputation by consistently delivering an excellent service with quality products. Last year, we supplied more than 25,000,000 units of retailer-brand products into high street stores, giving us an authoriative share of the market.
Our offices are based in Syston, North Leicester. Located just off the A46 close to Junction 21a of the M1. Within our offices, we have a showroom with seasonal products and trends on display and an inhouse design and technical facility. We also have a full service warehousing and distribution operation.
Located in Istanbul, the Penti Group were founded in 1947 as a hosiery manufacturer. This remained their primary focus until 1999 when the first Penti store opened. The success of this venture saw Penti embark on an era of expansion, that has seen them become one of Turkey’s largest, most recognised retail brands. With over 500 stores spread across 2 continents and 43 countries, Penti are truly a global enterprise.
Penti continue to manufacture hosiery products, entering the Top 500 Industrial Firms of Turkey list in 2013 and being widely recognised as the second largest hosiery manufacturer in Europe. The factory is based in Çorlu, Turkey – 100 miles west of Istanbul. This 6200m² facility is environmentally compliant and fully audited for UK retailers, supplying retailer brand products for customers including M&S, Tesco, Boots, Primark, H&M, Carrefour, River Island and Dunnes.
The Penti stores offer a market leading selection of swimwear, loungewear, underwear and activewear, with a reputation for offering quality and style at affordable prices. Sitting alongside these products, the original hosiery offering remains hugely popular and is the best-selling hosiery brand in Turkey.
